You need to flash your modem on a Windows computer. After that you can install it on Mac OS Lion. If you get the error “searching network” after this update you need to delete two files (don’t forget to unplug the modem from your Mac before).
Macintosh HD > System > Library > Extensions
files to delete: cdc.kext and cdc_ecm_qmi.kext
Ever wanted to get rid of some TP-cables? Wonder if you could use Homeplug? (TP over power). I haven’t tested homeplug for a normal network but I heard it works good.
What I wanted to do was to try using homeplug with Telia DigitalTV and 2 Digital Boxes.
The reason I wanted to test Homeplug is that WiFi (like Ruckus) doesn’t work so well and I couldn’t find any good blog or review that have tested Homeplug with DigitalTV.
Especially not with 2 Digital Boxes and Telia in Sweden.
So I got a package of 3 Devolo Dlan 200 AVmini adapters. What you do is that you connect 1 adapter to the digital Switch (just take a TP cable, connect it to the switch then to your dLAN adapter and connect the adapter to the power outlet.
Then you plug in the other adapters the same way but to the Digital Box, eg DigitalBox and a TP cable, connect it to the Power adapter and the dLAN adapter to the power outlet). No settings needed. It will all work by it self.
Easy installation, but does it work well?
The answer is yes, it works with out any problems. Just like having an Ethernet network. 2 Digital Boxes, 2 HD channels at the same time. I didn’t notice any different from the Ethernet connection.
And not only do you get rid of the cables, you also get rid of the extra switch you need because you have two boxes.
There are different types of packages but if you have 1 box you need the package that consist of 2 adapters (one for the switch and one for the box). If you have 2 boxes you need 3 adapters. For example the Devolo dLAN 200 AVmini Network Kit – http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=579534.

google.com/ig is a nice start for you browser. If you haven’t used it you should at least check it out. With Google IG you can add lots of gadgets and RSS feeds directly to one page. Check the picture (my google/ig page) to get an idea how you can use it.
I got a new computer the other day and I wanted to switch PC for my iTunes. I didn’t feel like installing a fresh installation of iTunes since that would wipe my phone and start all over again isn’t that funny. I searched the net and found a great program called Copytrans 4 that worked without any problems for me.
You just choose what you want to do (I chosed something like backup of you iTunes media and mange them all in one library) , where you want to put the files and done. Then install the program on the new PC and restore.
An update for all you people who have problems with the ZTE 4G modem and Mac OS Lion have been released.
